Nefertari offering to Hathor

Nefertari offering to Isis

Papyrus 725

Papyrus width: 17" Height: 13", Papyrus Art Width: 12" Height: 10" Hand painted and signed on LIGHT papyrus. Please note that colors may vary. A rather stylized representation in the tomb of Nefertari depicting her making an offering of wine to the goddess, Hathor. Nefertari, on the left, wears a white gown in the original scene and in fact, while the rendering of this scene is fairly good, almost all the colors are altered. The offering is actually being made to Serket and Ma'at as well, who in the original scene sit behind Hathor. Hathor offers Nefertari life in the form of an ankh. Interestingly, while a fairly accurate rendering of this scene, it appears to be reversed right to left from its original.
